A striking antique French blue and white pot made in the Toulouse region of southern France and sourced in Roussillon. Tolosane ceramics are celebrated for their deeply saturated glazes and bold utilitarian forms, historically used to store oils, preserved foods, and everyday kitchen staples.
This example features a beautiful contrast of blue florals against the glossy white glaze. It was also discovered with an accompanying lid. The rounded body and classic loop handles reflect traditional Tolosane form, and the proportions give it strong sculptural presence.
